Geboren am 30.10.1949 in Prag, lebt und arbeitet in Lety bei Dobřichovice. Besuchte das Atelier für Figurenzeichnung und – malerei bei Professor František Nedvěd. Arbeitete ab 1974 freiberuflich im Bereich Werbung und Gebrauchsgrafik. Derzeit widmet er sich der grafischen Technik des Holzschnitts, sowie Malerei und Design. Im Zentrum seines Interesses steht die Portrait – und Figurenmalerei. Mit seinen Bildern ist er im In – und Ausland vertreten.

 Michal Landa was born on October 30th, 1949 in Prague and now lives and works in Lety near Dobřichovice. He studied figurative painting in Professor František Nedvšd’s Studio in Prague. Since 1974 he has been working as independent artist and creating various woodcuts, paintings and designs. His main area of interest are portrait and figure painting. His paintings are part of many collections in Galleries both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Michal Landa se narodil 30.10.1949 v Praze, žije a pracuje v Letech u Dobřichovic. Navstěvoval atelier figurální kresby a malby u profesora Františka Nedvěda. Od roku 1974 pracoval ve svobodném povolání v oboru propagační a užité grafiky. Současně se věnuje grafické technice dřevořezu, malbě a designu. Centrem jeho zájmu je portrétní a figurální malba. Svými obrazy je zastoupen v uměleckých sbírkách doma i v zahraničí.
